Welcome!
The Ozarks area is famous for its natural environment and outdoor activities. However, the Ozarks also has a rich history and tradition from early Osage Native Americans to Civil War battlefields to some of today's largest modern corporations. This history is full of mysterious stories and experiences that seem to defy ordinary explanations. The Hornet Spooklight in southwest Missouri, reports of ghosts in the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, and alleged Bigfoot sightings in central Arkansas are just a few examples.
Based in Northwest Arkansas, Paranormal Ozarks Investigations is a paranormal research team dedicated to scientifically investigating reports of unexplained phenomena and helping individuals who are afflicted by unexplained events. Most people call us Ghost Hunters. By whatever name, our focus is the same: we actively research locations and stories and gather scientific data to discover the root causes behind these unexplained stories and experiences. We use this website to share our findings from our investigations with the public and with other research groups. |
